Project Okurase – The primary objectives of the project is to build a community infrastructure called the Nkabom Centre. The centre will provide the local villages with training programmes, family support, health care, clean water supply  and educational facilities.   

The objective of Project Okurase is to provide skills training and formal education to vulnerable children, women and to connect orphaned children with families that have the capacity to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of a child. This will allow the children to grow healthy into strong and independent adults.

The Calabash Hub has visits Okurase village on every tour between 2011-2019 and has witnessed the development of the building and infrastructure. The building shown is being constructed as part of the Nkabon centre.
