Being invited to any Vlisco Fashion event I am not going to say no. So kindly accepted my invite by Eugenia one of the judges to the final Fashion Fund 2022 event on Wednesday 24th August.
So, this was a great opportunity to select an outfit I have not worn before but had for a long time chillin. The event took place at Pearly Gates in East Legon, Accra. The venue had been transformed into a bright, nature looking, elegant fashion room. As soon as you entered the room the sound of a jazz musician welcomed you to your seat. Lucky to get front row to enjoy the show.

Fashion Show
Chrystal Kwame-Aryee was the MC for the night. There was 3 finalists Rukaya Halidu, Austin Nortey and Deladem Midekor – Each finalist showcased 5 designs during the fashion show. Bold elegant colourful creative styles that had attention to detail. So many favourites to look at.
I was also impressed with the models hair styles.
Sisterhood – No behaviour
It was a pleasure to attend amongst members of the Sisterhood who all looked stunning – we turned up. Our presence was definitely noticed throughout the show as we cheered on all the finalists and danced the night away and had our own mini fashion show with complimentary drinks and canape.
